Construction Inspector
Ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of construction and inspection fundamentals and
have the ability to communicate well with others. Excellent writing/communication
skills are required, certifications are a plus but not required. (Available in Blacksburg)
CADD Technician
Ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of drafting fundamentals and
have the ability to communicate concepts well with others. Must be technically proficient
in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and AutoCAD Land Desktop. Two to three years experience is
preferred. (Available in Charlotte & Richmond)
Biological Technician
Ideal candidate must have an educational background and degree in a biological, environmental science, or related fields, be an independent as well as a team worker, have a positive attitude, be willing to perform repetitive tasks on a daily basis, and be available to work on weekends and holidays, as needed. Primary duties include: performance of acute and chronic bioassays, maintaining cultures of fresh water test organisms (fish and water fleas), glassware cleaning, and general wet chemistry analyses. This is an entry/mid-level full-time position. (Available in Blacksburg)
Bioassay Laboratory
Manager
Primary duties include the management and direction of day-to-day bioassay
laboratory activities, including culture maintenance, test scheduling, test
performance, staffing and personnel administration, communication with clients
and regulatory agencies, and assisting with marketing activities .
Candidate must have a degree in a biological, environmental science, or related
fields. M.S. degree is preferred. Prior laboratory management experience,
knowledge of environmental regulations, and excellent writing/communication

Environmental Analyst
/ Field Technician
Responsibilities include environmental sampling and analysis. Travel and light
physical work are required. Two year degree in biology, environmental science,
or a related field is preferred. (Currently Not Available)
Senior
Water/Wastewater Project Manager
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated strong project management skills
and the ability to effectively mentor and develop talents of junior engineers
and staff. This individual will exhibit excellent client development skills and
have an established presence in the Carolinas and/or Virginia . 10+ years
experience and P.E. required, masters degree preferred. (Available in Blacksburg, Charlotte & Richmond)
Water/Wastewater
Design Engineer
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years experience in water/wastewater
design. Must be able to effectively apply design skills, principles, and
experience and be able to offer quick, accurate solutions. Strong oral and
written communication skills and organization skills are required. Must be
proficient in computer use, including MS Word/Excel/Access with Computer
Modeling Experience preferred. BSCE and P.E. required, MSCE Environmental
Emphasis preferred. (Available in Blacksburg, Charlotte & Richmond)
Solid Waste Engineer
Ideal candidate will have 4+ years experience in Solid Waste Engineering
including experience at project manager level. Should have business development
and client interaction experience preferably in the regional area. Helpful for
candidate to have expertise in one or more of the following areas; Landfill
design, Permitting, Leachate recovery systems, Transfer Stations, LFG
collection systems. Must be able to effectively apply design skills,
principles, and experience and be able to offer quick, accurate solutions.
Strong oral and written communication skills and organization skills. Must be
proficient in computer use, including MS Word/Excel BSCE and P.E. required,
MSCE preferred. (Available in Charlotte & Blacksburg )
Civil Engineer
Ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in civil/site design with a
strong background in hydraulics/hydrology. Experience in the use of hydraulic
models desirable. Must be able to effectively apply design skills, principles,
and experience and be able to offer quick, accurate solutions. Strong oral and
written communication skills and organization skills. Must be proficient in
computer use, including MS Word/Excel BSCE and P.E. required, MSCE preferred.

Senior Environmental
Geologist / Hydrogeologist
Responsibilities include groundwater monitoring, Phase I & II auditing,
preparation of remediation plans, management of staff, servicing existing
clients and business development. Qualified candidate must be a Virginia
licensed Certified Professional Geologist (CPG) with a B.S. in Geology (M.S.
preferred) and a 4-10 years track record of successful consulting experience.
